Should I upload an SVG or a PNG?
SVG, if you have it — vector stays clean at every size the kit needs, from a small social avatar crop to a print-resolution brochure, and can be recoloured for dark backgrounds without a halo. A PNG works too: use a transparent-background file at least 1000 px on its longest edge, because any softness or JPEG artefact in the source will follow the mark into the reel and the brochure.
What if my logo is one colour, or just a wordmark?
That's the easy case, not the hard one. A single-colour or text-only mark leaves the palette open, so the kit builds a full role set around your one brand colour — surface, ink, accent and a body-text pair checked at 4.5:1 — instead of trying to reconcile six colours pulled out of a gradient.
